Rona Trinidad-Retana, APRN-BC

Rona Trinidad-Retana has brought with her expertise in non-surgical procedures from years of experience from several distinguished institutions. A Filipino-American, she lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida before she moved to DC in 2018. She received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Florida State College in 2003 and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2006. In 2017, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University. 

For 14 years, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Florida at UF Health’s Level One Trauma ICU, and MICU/ED at Baptist, Memorial Hospital and Orange Park Hospital.  As a Nurse Practitioner she worked at Baptist Medical Center’s Neurology Department specializing in movement disorders, then at George Washington MFA’s Neurology Department in DC specializing in General Neurology and Headache Disorders. 

Nurse Rona is known for being able to deliver natural results. Her specialty includes injecting neuromodulators like Botox & Dysport Cosmetics, and for other conditions like Chronic Migraine, Bruxism, and TMJ. She provides full aesthetic consults, assessment, and helps you develop a skin care regimen using Medical Grade Skin Care (Skin Better Science, Skin Medica, & ISDIN) to enhance your results. She specializes in facial contouring and skin rejuvenation using dermal fillers, Morpheus 8 Face & Body, SkinPen Microneedling, PRP/PRF (platelet rich plasma/platelet rich fibrin), and Chemical Peels. She is trained to do the ‘Fern Technique’ and dermal filler reversals and dissolving. We offer Celluma Led Light therapy as well as Upneeq to treat low lying lids.
