In the interests on ensuring that our Congressmen don’t feel left out, this time we’re giving male legislators with especially notable smiles their due. Congressman Sean Duffy

Congressman Sean Duffy represents Wisconsin’s 7th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. A former District Attorney of Ashland County, Wisconsin, Duffy’s remarkable smile was also often seen on T.V. during his days as a sports commentator and reality show cast member. Duffy currently serves on the Committee on Financial Services, Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit and the Subcommittee on Insurance, Housing and Community Opportunity.


Congressman Ted Deutch

Congressman Ted Deutch is the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 21st district. Aside from his brilliant, Capitol Hill style smile, Deutch’s accomplishments include representing Florida’s 19th district in the U.S. House of Representatives and serving in the Florida State Senate. Committee assignments include Committee on Foreign Affairs and Committee on the Judiciary, Competition, and the Internet, as well as several subcommittees.


Congressman Eric Cantor

A Congressman with a great smile, Eric Cantor has represented Virginia’s 7th congressional district since 2001 and is the current House Majority Leader. Cantor also served as House Minority Whip from 2009 to 2011 and House Chief Deputy Whip from 2003 to 2009. Cantor is also a former small-businessman and served as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 73rd district for 9 years.


Congressman Jim Matheson

Congressman Jim Matheson is currently the U.S. Representative for Utah’s 4th district and represented the 2nd district for 12 years. Before entering politics, Matheson worked in the energy industry, eventually establishing his own energy consulting firm. Matheson currently serves on the Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade, and Subcommittee on Health.


Senator Pat Toomey

Senator Pat Toomey is serving his first term as junior Senator from Pennsylvania, elected in 2010. However, he’s had a few years to develop his Capitol Hill style, serving three terms as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 15th district. Toomey serves on the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Committee on the Budget, Committee on Finance, and the Congressional Joint Economic Committee.


Congressman Tony Cardenas

Another legislator with a remarkable smile is Congressman Tony Cardenas, who represents California’s 29th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Previously, Cardenas spent a decade as a member of the Los Angeles City Council and served three terms in the California State Assembly. He serves on the Committee on Natural Resources, Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Committee on the Budget, and a number of subcommittees.


Senator John Thune

Senator John Thune has been serving South Dakota in the Senate since 2005. Previously, his brilliant smile could be seen on Capitol Hill as he served three terms as the South Dakota’s only U.S. Representative. Congressman Bobby Scott

Last, but certainly not least in terms of great smiles is Congressman Bobby Scott, who has served as U.S. Representative from Virginia’s 3rd district since 1993. Scott has also been a state legislator, serving in both the Senate of Virginia and the Virginia House of Delegates. Scott serves on the Committee on Education and Labor and Committee on the Judiciary, and is ranking member of the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.
